You can store it on the ham holder provided by Ibérico Club, over the kitchen countertop away from any direct heat source. Once you start slicing your jamón, make sure to cover the exposed meat surface with slices of its own fat and cover the ham with a regular kitchen cloth. Sliced: Yes. If you bought our Hand Carved Ham, you should place it on the refrigerator until you are ready to eat it, make sure to let it sit for an hour until it is at room temperature. Whole Leg: No. Just place your jamón on the ham holder provided by Ibérico Club and leave it at room temperature over the countertop. Make sure to cover the exposed meat surface with slices of its own fat and cover with a regular cloth. There are between 15 and 20 slices of heaven. It’s a good portion for 2 people if you enjoy it with some good quality bread and your favorite wine. It’s important to understand that this is a 100% artisanal product. Each jamón is sliced by hand and each package of sliced ham is slightly different from the others.
